“From Transitional Care To Home”

My husband and I are older adults.  He fell and broke his femer bone.  I was very worries about leaving transitional care.  A friend recommended Flying Solo after she had a fall and was hospitalized.  She was very confident Dee Ryan and Flying Solo could help us.

I called Dee and she listened to my worries.  She said “To ensure this transition is successful, I will come to the transitional care facility to meet you and your husband.  Then, we can go over what both of youa re expecting from the concierge service.  we’ll reading through all the discharge instructions and prepare your home for any special equipment needed.  We want both of you to be comfortable so we can move furniture  avoiding trip hazards, and we’ll make special resting areas within the home.  The best way to avoid stress is to be organized so we will plan the next 7 days out for appts, meals, pharmacy pick-ups, shopping, clean clothes, bedding changes, laundry, light cleaning, pharmacy pickups, etc.  We will escort you home and we will come evey day for the next 7 days making sure this is working the way you want it to.”

She did exactly that and more.  The transition went without a hitch and my husband was finally home in his own bed.  They came in every day and stuck to our schedule we created.  We worried about nothing.  It was a 5 star experience!  I recommend them highly.   Kathy and Tom Shoreview Jan 25’
